Dr. Abdul Hakeem K.S.

Biography

Dr. Abdul Hakeem K.S. is a General Practitioner and the Medical Director of Carepro Assist — a unit of Carepro Aging LLP, Palakkad — with 27 years of experience. He completed his MBBS at the Calicut Medical College, India, followed by three years of DNB Paediatric postgraduate training at Madras Medical College, Chennai, and is registered with the National Board at New Delhi.

He has 23 years of experience practising medicine in Kerala, India, in both hospital and clinic settings, particularly in the field of Paediatrics. This includes 10 years of teaching experience at a private medical college in India.

Dr. Abdul Hakeem also has three years of experience in hospital administration as the Managing Director of Sree Balaji Hospital, Palakkad. He has held positions of responsibility including Secretary and President of the Indian Medical Association's Kerala Chapter. He later worked as a General Practitioner with Aster DM Healthcare in Dubai for close to four years.

Drawing on his experience as a clinician, Dr. Abdul Hakeem recognised a significant gap in the care and support available to older people — a concern also reflected in global healthcare statistics. This inspired him to focus on preventive healthcare, so that elderly individuals receive the compassion, attention, and personalised support they deserve. With this vision, he founded Carepro Assist in his hometown of Palakkad, to promote healthy ageing through the early detection and timely management of age-related health conditions — helping prevent complications and enabling older adults to enjoy a healthier, more independent, and fulfilling life.
